What is meant by "product condition"?

On the Optiba platform, we primarily sell new products purchased from the manufacturers and distributors of the brands in question, which gives you warranties of the highest quality of the items supplied. However, our shop also gives you access to products purchased from the so-called secondary market, which may have minor defects, e.g. due to long storage under unsuitable conditions.

Such products are the vast minority of our platform's stock, but we use the following classification to distinguish them from full-value products. When purchasing goods from the NSIL2, REI, USI categories, our team shall always inform you of possible product defects.

What is the status of the product in each condition?

NIOP - New Item Original Packaging

• New products in original packaging

• Obtained from manufacturers and distributors

• Warranty 12 or 24 months depending on manufacturer's warranty

• Wholesome products of the best quality

NSIL1 - New Surplus Item Level 1

• New products, never used, purchased from the secondary market

• No apparent defects

• In original packaging

• Possible old production dates

• 12-month warranty

NSIL2 - New Surplus Item Level 2

• New products, never used, purchased from the secondary market

• In working order, with visible defects due to inadequate storage conditions, such as:

  • damaged or missing packaging,

  • visible traces of rust, dust, dirt,

  • marker traces,

  • products may be disassembled

• Possible old production dates

• Possibly incomplete documentation

• Start-up warranty, giving you the option to return the product if it proves to be faulty. In special cases, a longer warranty is possible if our supplier provides one.

REI- Refubrished Item

• Used, working, reconditioned products

• Possible old production dates

• Possible absence of complete documentation

• There may be defects such as:

  • damaged or missing packaging,

  • visible traces of rust, dust, dirt,

  • marker traces,

  • products may be disassembled

• Start-up warranty, giving you the option to return the product if it proves to be faulty. In special cases, a longer warranty is possible if our supplier provides one.

   

USI - Used Item

• Used productse

• With visible defects
